Trick or Treat
Trick:
Now the serpent
was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did

But I am afraid
that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning your minds may somehow
be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 2 Cor 11:3
Be alert and of
sober mind your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for
someone to devour. 9 Resist
him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers
throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 1 Peter 5:8-9
The thief comes only to steal and
kill and destroy John 10:10a
Treat:
I (Jesus) have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full. 11 “I am the good shepherd.
The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.” John 10:10b-11
Do not be afraid of those who kill
the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy
both soul and body in hell. Matthew
10:28
8 For it is by grace
you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the
gift of God— 9 not
by works, so that no one can boast.
